30P valves lasting over 100k makes sense considering my valvetrain was untouched at 175k. So if I never want to have to do this again should I replace all intake valves with the newer EG valves, even the ones that have made it so far? And should I be worried about the valve springs, which are also original? If you don't mind me asking, I'd like to get perspective from someone who's familiar with this business. It seems to me that the machinist who did the work should repair this for free, am I out of line with this thought?
